Life…
Is life life without problems? Would life without problems be perfect? Nah, it would probably make your life boring. Face it, we all like suprises right? Well life gives us plenty of surprises, its the surprises that you like that make you happy. The ones you dont, we call them problems. I know you guys are going through some stressful times now, exams, coursework, work and the usual stuff life hurls at you.
Though you can’t change how these things are (hard work, long hours, concentration), we can however, change how we look at them. Start by changing how you say things. Example, lets say you’ve got a lot of work to be done. Instead of saying ” man, ive got a million things to do!” , change it to “man, ive got a few things to do”. Doesn’t that change how we perceive things? Surely it makes our effort of doing work much easier.
Anthony Robbins, famous life coach once told a story of when he first started off playing golf with a trainer. Every time he took a swing the ball went into the lake instead of landing on the green. His trainer went up to him and said , “Tony, you missed by a few millimetres,” Tony was like, “say what??, the ball missed by a few yards at the least! ”
“Well what you need to be doing right is to hit the ball a few mm like this for it to be going on the green,” replied his trainer. There it hit Tony, what a great metaphor for life. Just start doing small things and a greater effect will come. Start by going through life by just a millimetre at a time. It doesn’t need to be a great big step, just something small. Something as minute as taking that first step to lectures, that flick of a page of a reference book, picking up a pencil or pen, those small cogs that make up a much larger mechanism which is life.

So guys don’t fret. You cant change exams, but you can change how you look at exams differently. Sure it sucks, but hey, at least when you pick up that camera again after going through torturous or victorious weeks, depending on how it went for you. The sound of you pressing the shutter would have never sounded so sweet… ; ) Enjoi_learning friends.
